Welcome back to The FSM Prep Rally on Franchise Sports Media. The 702 High School football scene was full of exciting games and lots of upsets during Week 6. In Week 7 we have two top 6 teams face off in what we expect to be a high scoring affair, and lots of movement in the FSM Top 10 Rankings.

 

Bishop Gorman rebounded from an embarrassing loss that saw them blow a 24-7 lead with just over a minute left in the game, to throttle Arbor View 52-0.

This was surprising since the Aggies just came off a tough win against Desert Pines the week before and move up to #3 on the FSM Top 10 Rankings.

What we saw out of the Gaels is a team that understands that they blow a huge opportunity nationally. Bishop Gorman had an outside chance, albeit a slim one, to play for a High School National Title, and they blew it. Now their focus is once again to win the Nevada state title and reclaim the crown of the top team in Nevada.

What does this mean? Well, for me personally, I think it shows where Bishop Gorman is and that they are headed in the right direction if you are a Gaels fan. I also think it means bad news for the rest of the Valley. 

 

Week 6 was full of upsets, AND WE LOVE IT!

 

Elijah Espinoza, the impressive freshman quarterback from Las Vegas High School, passed for four touchdowns to help the Wildcats upset Clark, 41-0.   

Foothill upset Palo Verde behind 200 yards and four touchdowns from Kendric Thomas in a 42-20 win.

And Spring Valley Grizzlies forced seven turnovers against the Mojave Rattlers in a 14-0 win.
