WWJD #34: 2021 FSM NFL Mock Draft
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…” – Andy Williams
No, it isn’t Christmas; well, technically, it isn’t, but for me and just about every NFL fan, it is! It’s NFL DRAFT DAY! I used to say it was the NFL’s birthday present to me since it used to fall on my birthday weekend, but now it is a 3-day extravaganza that hundreds of thousands of people tune in for. Unlike last year, when we were at the beginning of a global pandemic, and the NFL canceled the Draft, which was supposed to take place here in Las Vegas, fans will be able to attend this year’s NFL Draft taking place in Cleveland Ohio.
In today’s WWJD, I enlisted the help of my good friend and FSM Las Vegas Raiders reporter, CJ Baldwin, also known as “The Raiders Realist.” CJ is as well versed in the draft as anyone I know, and we did the FSM Mock Draft.
There were only two rules for The FSM Mock Draft:
1. We rotate picks
2. There would be no trades.
CJ took the odd number picks, and I had the even number picks. We used our own “big boards,” and each had our own version of how to draft. CJ used who he would draft for each team while I drafted based on information I have learned and who I felt was the best player available. Somehow, CJ got to pick for the Raiders, but as a punishment from the football gods, he also had to pick for the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers.
So without further ado, here is the 2021 FSM Mock Draft.

I know there are picks some won’t agree with, and “how did such and such get left off of round 1?” Well, just like any draft, there are surprises, and we both think that will be the case in the 2021 Draft. Will the Falcons trade Julio Jones? Will Deshaun Watson (finally) get traded away from Houston? Who will be the surprise pick in round 1? Who will reach, and who will let the board fall to them and make out like a bandit? We’ll find out later today, but until then, please feel free to comment on this mock draft in the comment section to interact with me or CJ on Twitter (@JoeArrigo & @Raiders_Realist).
The NFL Draft is upon us. Please join me, TQ, CJ and the FSM staff tonight as we broadcast our 2nd annual draft show right here on Franchise Sports Media, and all four of our FSM platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Periscope, and Twitch). We start an hour before the draft and will stay on after to breakdown the day’s picks. Just go to our social media sites (@TheFranchiseLV on all 4) if you aren’t going to watch The FSM NFL Draft Show on the FSM site.
Peace✌
